I just got my A&p I grades back and I got an A- in lecture and B+ in lab. I wish I could have at least gotten an A- in lab because admissions are on a point basis and anything in the A spectrum gets 4 pointsoh well. Gotta kick butt in A&p II!
This is only likely to be an issue if you're marginal on the points. One point usually isn't going to be a deciding factor. If your program is entirely merit/points based, then yes, one point could make a difference. My program has a minimum points criteria to get entry to the selection pool. If your points are equal or greater than the minimum, you're qualified. Their minimum is 65 points. If you have 64, there are usually ways to get some extra points to bump you above 65 points. It's all spelled out exactly how to get points.
The point is, don't sweat it, but certainly advocate for yourself. If you feel you earned a different grade, say so. Just be able to competently and confidently state your reason why you earned a different grade than what was recorded.
