Saddleback College Fall 2015

Hi there!

I just submitted my application for fall of 2015, didn't find a fall 2015 board so figured I'd start one! Who else is applying? I've seen on previous semesters that people knew the total amount of applicants-anyone know the total amount for this semester or how to find out? I have 85 (possibly 87) points, but still terrified that I won't get in. Good luck everyone!

Do you guys still want to meet up tomorrow beforehand? Should we just meet in front of the health sciences building around 9:15 or so?

It was exciting, a bit overwhelming though (; Gave us all of the information for the things we need to get done before orientation. , background checks, vaccines and physical, uniforms, etc Also gave us a bit of info about which classes we will be taking, they changed clinicals this semester so it's only 1 12 hour clinical a week instead of 2 10 hour clinicals. They were very organized so it makes it easier! When do they start letting alternates know if they've gotten in? If you're 4th that's some really good chances!

I could get a call at anytime before or even after classes start... But I will be attending the July 31st orientation regardless....crossing my fingers to get in for fall I can hardly wait any longer!

You are so in! If you were invited to attend orientation then you are next in line. What alternate #are you? Fingers are crossed for you!!

Hi everyone! Congrats to all that got in for sure. I am also crossing my fingers for fall 2015. I am alternate #10 =/ but I applied not thinking I was going to get in bc of the point system so I am very lucky in my eyes. After spring my points will be over 75 because of pharm and gerontology. How was the paperwork session?? Does anyone know what the chances of alternate #10 have to getting in for fall??? =)))

Hi there! Paperwork session was a little overwhelming. There is a lot to be done. I suggest going on saddlebacks nursing page and read nursing handbook. There is a good chance you will get in. Especially because smer is approaching and other people will drop out to go to other schools or life gets in the way. If you can get pharm and gero out of the way that is even better. Good luck!

I'm #4 and rooting for you rippee!!!! The lady I talked to in the office said we could be called anytime....I'm optimistic we will get in!!! Let's keep chatiting so we don't go mental!!! Hahaa

Does anyone know when the next info meeting is before orientation? I read that some of you did something on the 9th...just hoping to get an idea if they would call alternates before the orientation....I think I'm probably not going to find out anything until orientation and have to do all my background check and physical and everything last minute...but, then I should probably stop thinking!!! Have a great weekend everyone!
