Hello everyone! Thought I would start a thread for saddleback since I have not seen anything!
Everyone on here please feel free to ask questions and perhaps share stats!
My statistics are as follows:
15 pts for 1000+ hours as an EMT
30 pts for 4.0 science GPA
9 points for relevant nursing coursework
3 points for life experience (no documentation needed)
2 points for language proficiency
25 points for TEAS score
for a total of 84 points
Okay, be on them about it because if you’re not immune then it’s a whole process of having to get the vaccines then wait another 4 weeks to have titters drawn in hope that you have immunity again or get another vaccine and wait another 4 weeks, and the deadline is December 1st, don’t know how strict they will be with that. I had my hen b titters drawn on 10/11 at quest lab and got the results the next day, which was great because my immunity was low and I went and got a hen b booster shot the next day, so on 11/11 I’ll be having my titers redrawn with hopes my immunity is good so I won’t have to wait any longer. Hoping I’ll be all done before the deadline.

Thanks! I hope it will be okay since we just need it before we do clinicals ?.

?
I have not heard anything but I was accepted into the program and had to release my spot last week. So hopefully some of you guys get in and have enough time to get all your stuff done!
I am also on the alternate list. @Sarah Kacevich How did you find out what number alternate you are?

Initially I emailed and asked what spot I was but they would not tell me.
I later emailed again to ask a question regarding requirements and they told me that I am tenth on the list so I don't need to stress about requirements because I probably won't get in ?

I just emailed and they were able to tell me but I think it's silly that they wouldn't in the first place because if you are last on the last on list, it would almost be a waste to go through the whole process ?

Hey, so far I’ve seen a few people choosing not to go through with the program and I’m getting kind of nervous, does this have anything to do with the program itself or just personal reasons?
Thanks

No not at all I’ve heard great things about the Saddleback program! Don’t be nervous. I’m dropping because I can finish my BSN a bit sooner at another school, so for me it’s just about timing.

Saddleback's program is one of the best in the country for a community college. I just got accepted into a BSN program and don't want to continue at the CC level.

Yeah I just got my titers drawn today, but my doctors are extremely slow since it’s a small clinic, so I don’t know when I’ll hear from them.
