Hello! Anyone applying to the BSN program at Sac State for Spring 2023? With how many points are you guys applying? I still have yet to take my first attempt on the TEAS.

What was your TEAS score and did you have omitted or repeated courses? I have 71 right now and I’m really nervous. It’s unlikely I’ll get in ?
Hello, thank you! Last time with 71 points I had a 92.7 on the TEAS, 12 criteria points (I think), and a 3.88 nursing GPA
criteria points were 50 volunteer hours, language points, local high school, and first generation college student
I’ve had a lot of repeats so I do not get points for that and I omitted two grades since I have taken all 12 prerequisites

Thanks! So for the tie-breaker, I know they base the ranking 1st on no omitted courses and 2nd on no repeats. In case 2 people both have no omitted coursed and no repeats, do they go to the 3rd basis which is comparing of the TEAS scores or do they look at who has higher GPA?

I am honestly unsure to say what order they go in. It is not very clear on their website. I suggest you email them.

Does anyone know when they'll release decisions? I've been reading a bunch of stats from previous terms and I'm a little nervous. I have 73 points, hopefully the cut off isn't too high this semester :((
They’ll release it tomorrow after 5 pm. I have 71 points and I am nervous as well but we have to consider the fact that the past few years they accepted way less applicants due to COVID = higher point cut off. Good luck to us. Hopefully we get great results tomorrow!
