Sacramento State Spring 2017

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey guys,I didn't see a thread yet for the spring '17 program so I figured I'd start one. CSU nursing programs are more competitive than ever, so let's try to help each other through this extremely nerve-wracking process!

Greetings! I'm applying for Sac State with 79 points. Not the best, but hopefully it's enough to make it on the single-digit waitlist. If all fails, I'll apply again next semester and have my Health-Related 100 hours done to total my points to 82.

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to wish everyone good luck. I am also applying for csus spring 2017. I will have 80 points. Hopefully that will be enough but you never know.

And the waiting game begins.

Hopefully we will hear something on Friday.

Hopefully, but I don't think it's likely. Going by statistics, there should be around 250-300 applicants, and it should take them at least two more week to organize the point rankings. Sadly, it seems like we won't hear our decision till late November. Anyone applied anywhere else than Sac State?

I applied to CSULB as well as SF State.

I meant they post the general info, how many applications, what point has the 80th seat, etc. We will not get our official letters, like you said, until later Nov. However, if you know around how many points you have you should be able to get an idea of where you stand once they post the general.

Ahh so like a preliminary announcement. Hopefully! I was planning to apply to SF State also, but I only had 6/8 pre-reqs done, so my only options were Sac State and Stan State.

I had an interview at CSULB, they invited 90 to interview for 80 spots so I'm just waiting to hear back from them as well.

Nice! Is that your first choice?
