Sacramento State Fall 2021

Published

Just want to start a new thread for Sacramento State students applying for Fall 2021.  Please feel free to post comments/questions/information.

I wish everyone the best!

I submitted my application about 2 days ago, so nervous!! I really wish there was a way of making sure everything was submitted correctly to make sure you didn't have some small slip up. I'm applying with 75 points.

adjusted nursing GPA: 4.0

non-adjusted: 3.951

TEAS: 92.7

optional: 12

this is my first time applying, and I have really high hopes since the last few semesters, point totals above 73-74 seemed to get in even though the number of accepted applicants were slashed in half. wishing good luck to everyone!

I also wanted to add in case anyone did not know: if you go to the nursing school website and go to the informational group sessions tab, theres a chat option to talk to someone if you have questions ? I've just been emailing, but a chat is way more convenient I think!

Has anyone gotten any word on if they are accepting 40 or 80 students for Fall?

I talked to the Program Director through LiveChat and she said that she would be sending out an email mid-March with information on whether it will be 80 or 40 students. She also said the email would let us know when to expect our admission decision, which should be sometime in April.

Oh wow! Fingers crossed for 80!

She did say they are hopeful they will be able to admit the full 80, so that’s something!

Anyone know usually when admissions decisions are given? It seems to be the dates posted on the nursing school websites are often over-estimates. I know the supplemental was due March 1st but I'm just curious...the decisions being released from other schools is making me nervous...

I received acceptance for the Health Science major on Feb 16th. Hopefully we'll hear back soon!
