How did you find out that info so early? It wasn’t until like November when they found out they were only able to accept 40 new applicants for Spring. It will be great if they do, but I’m surprised that decision has been formally made this early.

I think rain is assuming 80 people are going to be admitted since I posted earlier about me emailing the school of nursing and I was told they were planning on admitting 80 for fall 2021. key word here is 'planning' however, obviously things are subject to change !

Let’s cross our fingers that the plan for 80 comes true!
Hey all! Thanks for creating this thread. I talked with someone at Sac State via the live chat yesterday (1/21) and they said that they do not know yet if they can accept 80. It sounds like it will be a while before they know. I am hopeful, but also not counting on it. I currently have 75 points. I will be retaking the TEAS in a few weeks to try and do few points better. Every point counts!
Hi everyone!
I am a bit confused on the nursing application to get points for being bilingual. It indicates a foreign transcript, but I am not 100% clear on what that means. Does it mean showing you have completed a foreign language course on your college transcripts? I took 2 semesters of Spanish in college and I sent in my transcripts.

Seems like you have to be tested for it and have the form filled out. Simply taking the classes isn’t sufficient. Do you speak Spanish? Or have you only taken two classes. Here is a link the the form: https://www.csus.edu/college/arts-letters/world-languages-literatures/_internal/_documents/nursing_flpt_form_2020-2021.pdf
You can also find information on the requirement here: https://www.csus.edu/college/arts-letters/world-languages-literatures/bilingual-proficiency-nursing.html
Hope that helps! Good Luck!

I speak Spanish. I took the classes to fulfill some of the bonus points for other schools I applied to. Thank you!!
