Sacramento State (CSUS) Fall 2014 Applicants

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi All!

I'm currently applying for Sac state nursing fall 2014 as a transfer student. I'll have approximately 72 pts by the time of application. I cant wait for april/may to hear the results!

Interested in hearing about your experiences!

Oh this sucks, another day....... Oh well, as long as we get in?

@xaireel I bet you feel like a million bucks to almost be done with it??

@efsrous your a very strong candidate, I don't see why you won't be in Sac State BSN in fall. Is the intent to enroll not refundable?

milkpearl, I think they expect some people to accept their admission and then withdraw it later; that's why they have alternate lists. I don't think it will be a problem if you accept at San Diego and then change your mind later. It just sucks having to forfeit deposits...

The intent to enroll isn't refundable. I feel like I will probably get in to Sac, but it just feels like so much hubris not to have a backup!

Oh thank you so much that's a good point...Im just going to accept at San Diego for now just in case. And yes $200 is a lot to shell out but it's better to be safe. ;___;

Oh man this is so so frustrating because I got into Chico and San Diego as well. Chico has a $200 deposit and San Diego says I have to accept admission to the nursing program no later than today. I wonder if I can send an email to San Diego saying I accept but then change my mind? I have no idea what to do.... ahhhhhh

Hey! I also got accepted to chico. I went ahead and did my intent to enroll for Chico and Sac State. Both schools did not require a 200$ deposit due to nursing! I also think you should accept to San Diego's nursing and then email them again once find out from Sac and you officially decide!

I believe most CSUs have exemptions in place for nursing majors so that you don't have to pay the deposit until you hear back from the nursing program. I've been accepted to Sonoma State's program and that is my first choice... but I also accepted admission into the Chico and SF programs just in case.

What a relief, thank you for telling me. Wow!!

So decisions come out tomorrow May 1st at 5 pm ?

Tooooooo anxious!

I called Stanislaus and they said a fee waiver for the intent to enroll exists for students applying for nursing, but it was due early April. I wish I had known about this, I've scoured their nursing program's website and never saw anything about it. It seems like I'm probably going to be out $200.

congratulations to everyone that got into SD, stanislaus, SF, and chico. I'm sure you'll get into sac state's and have a tough decision to make. I only applied to sac state and the wait is killing me! lol

Today is the day! Good luck and congratulations!

Anyone getting anxious yet? ;) I have a feeling that we're couple of minutes away:)
