Hi everyone,
I am getting ready to send in my application for both programs the deadline is July 1st for fall 2007. Is anyone else applying to these programs? I am curious as to any information you may have heard regarding competitive gpa's, number of applicants, what they want in the personal statement etc., I have decent grades, six years experience as a paramedic and I completed the first semester of a JC nursing program with a 3.00 six years ago. I'm really nervous about the application procedure especially the essay. Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated...
Wow..I can't believe ABSN decisions will be mid-october. They said decisions for ELMSN will be mid-september,so I hope they stick to that plan. I know some people applied to both programs, so maybe if elmsn applicants accept their spot then maybe they will be able to determine by october who to send absn acceptance letters too?? There is no point in sending an ABSN acceptance letter when the individivual rather be in the ELMSN program. Just a thought. Does anyone know if their are interviews for SMC-Sacramento? I rread that SMC-SF doesn't have interviews anymore, except for those individuals in a "bubble". You would think that protocol would be followed by all SMC campuses then. Yeah, it's not fair if people who sent their applications after july 1 get priority over the ones who followed the guidelines. :nono:I keep waiting for the mail to come now...arrrrrggghhh:uhoh21:

I'm trying to keep my daily routine of freaking out about this to myself...
Last thing I heard was that decisions will be out by mid-October. They are still accepting applications for the ABSN program.
Waiting, waiting, waiting.
