Hi all! Does anyone know if Sac City also sends out denial emails? I have not received anything and I heard that they sent acceptance emails over a week ago.

I emailed them to see what happened since I also knew they sent acceptance letters. Their website mentions that they don't contact us if we don't get accepted. Here is what it states: 

If not selected:

You will not be contacted and telephone verification is not provided

SCC does not maintain a waitlist for nursing.

All submitted materials will be destroyed; SCC does not retain your application.

A new, complete application must be submitted for any future application periods.

 

So, I e-mailed them to see if I just didn't get selected or if I was missing documents/didn't qualify. They e-mailed back and said that I had everything and was just not selected this time around.

When you guys submitted your acceptance letter confirming your intention to enroll did you send it as a separate email, or as a reply? I did both but didn't recheck my school email until today and saw an error that says:

[email protected]

The email address you entered couldn't be found

I entered it exactly the same way it's written on the form so I'm a bit confused. I know they're supposed to confirm that they received our letters today, has anyone heard back yet?

I have yet to hear back, but I think your mistake in sending the email was using 'SSC' instead of 'SCC'.

I got in for Fall 2024, but I did get a confirmation email w/ all of the details for orientation + vaccination documentation last night!

Hey y'all!

For all of those who aren't from sac & are planning a move, how are you going about your living situation? I was thinking of potentially living alone but the cost of rent is literally insane so I'm not sure how to go about finding potential roommates 😭

it's INCREDIBLY unfortunate how SCC releases acceptances. It's almost like they don't think about how people have REAL jobs on the line and massive changes to make if they were accepted. Note: each candidate should be given a number and results managed online for all to see in 3 groups: A group= accepted, B group= backups, C group= cancelled/convicts
