  1. it's INCREDIBLY unfortunate how SCC releases acceptances. It's almost like they don't think about how people have REAL jobs on the line and massive changes to make if they were accepted. Note: each candidate should be given a number and results managed online for all to see in 3 groups: A group= accepted, B group= backups, C group= cancelled/convicts
  2. anyone know what the first 2 semesters look like? I get the 12 unit part but what does day to day schedule look like. How many days a week do you have to be on campus?
  3. points don't matter, destiny is all! really hope they don't stretch selection out past 8 weeks good lord!
  4. RN in Progress - you have a talent for getting info. The part about someone getting accepted the day before class begins though, is a little unnerving. That’s just one of those one offs I guess, but a lot to digest, thinking if THAT could happen. My mind reels at the thought of the such late notice. Karin - you’re going to get in, really shouldn’t worry about a thing. In my case I have good reason not to expect to get in this time. I’m am endlessly amazed at all the details to know about applying to these programs. I was unaware until I read this post several weeks ago that point tie breakers come down to the time stamp on your application. I did not weigh this detail when I submitted, I had not come across that info before and thought the application window was just open for a month. I think this thread might help future applicants if they happen to be savvy enough to find this board and care to scroll through all the comments.
  5. Aww man? Well, we’re all still gonna get IN! ??
  6. The email on Monday said, if you’re an alternate, to do nothing until officially accepted into program. I think by them inviting alternates under normal circumstances, it’s more of an info session, not much else. Might have to respond to an email that says we received something, but I don’t expect much else. ✌
  7. We should receive instructions for meeting before the 17th. I suspect pandemic might push the date. But we shall see. Deep breathing guys✌
  8. Hi I was put on alternate list as well. Hope things shift around and we all get in! RN in Progress, when you say "65 of us", do you mean alternates?
