Sac State 2016

Published

Hey all! I know it is a little early, but I am just finishing up my application for Sac State for fall 2016! Would love to meet some fellow applicants!

I'm just panicking that I did something wrong on my Csus app!! What did you get on the Teas?! Did you have additional points? Have you guys already been admitted to CSUS? I got 92 on the Teas, and I have a 4.0. I could have gotten the Spanish criteria points, but since I already had 85, I didn't worry about it. I want you to be my study buddy though!!! Ha ha! Smarty!

I got a 92 on teas as well! does anyone know when we are supposed to hear back?

I am actually graduating with my Bachelor's in Health Science in April, so I didn't have to apply to CSUS for the general app, but submit extra transcripts in my Supplemental App. I got a 93.3% on my TEAS, 4.0, and 9 extra points.

Nice job on the TEAS! :) we are supposed to hear back in late April, early May. If you are applying for Sacramento State as a "regular student" even if you don't get into the nursing program for Fall 2016, make sure you register for you "normal classes" if you don't hear a decision in time for regular class registration. If you are only applying to the nursing program (like me) there is no need to register for classes because if admitted, they register classes for you.

I am graduating this year, so I am only applying to the nursing program as well. Looks like we are in the same boat!

Great scores, everyone! I'm applying with 89 :)

I'm so happy I found this thread! I'm also applying with hopefully 89 points for fall 2016 if I calculated it right haha.

My stats: a 4.0 GPA and I scored a 92.7 on the TEAS, and 3 points for speaking another language (:

Great job to all, looks like everyone has a very chance of getting in next fall!

P.S. Anyone else wondering why there aren't a lot of us on this thread compared to spring 2016 app thread?

I've noticed the same. It seems as this potential cohort is an antisocial bunch;). In all seriousness, there are a couple of other threads serving the same purpose as this one;however, activity in all of them has been lacking relative to previous application threads for CSU Sac, as you mentioned. I'm definitely curious.

And good luck to all those who have posted. You all have outstanding scores.

It seems like there has been a lag between fall 2013 and spring 2016 threads. Perhaps the popularity of this site had decreased a little bit. :p I would assume that spring is going to be more vocal than fall because their application window starts over the summer (at least that is when they are really investigating everything) while we are in school full time during our application windows. Just a thought. :p :)

I'll be social!! Ha ha! I applied with 85 points, and I FINALLY got my official Sac State acceptance!! Now, to get started with the nursing stuff!! Right now, I'm just trying to get my life in order knowing that the next two years are going to be crazy busy!!

Hi everyone!

My name is Stephy. It is my first time applying for Nursing programs. I applied for SFSU, East Bay Cal State, Sac State and Samuel Merritt for Fall 2016

My stats:

GPA: 4.0

TEAS: 86 (Could have been higher. I took it at East Bay Cal State, and each section was time limited. I did not have enough time for Reading section:cry:, but I'm so glad that the score was not too bad.):)

and also 12 credits from the optional criteria

Total Point Score: 85

Hopefully I can get in for Fall 2016. Like everyone else, I'm nervous waiting for the results!

@dezsanders Yay! One less thing to worry about aha
