Sac State Nursing for Spring 2018

Published

Is anyone here applying in October for Spring 2018 nursing program at Sac State? I know this is the last semester to apply for the older criteria and CSUS will be changing the selection criteria for Fall 2018. What's your gpa? Teas score? points? I haven't taken the teas yet and I'm super nervous.

Thank you! Did you prepare before entering the program? If so, how?

I'll attach a document when I get home that has common medical abreviations on it. You'll have a little quiz on that the second week of school. Other than that, just get your checklist completed and enjoy your holidays and time off! Binge watch those shows you've always wanted to see, take a fun trip somewhere, and relax with your family and friends!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it and i'm sure the other students on this thread do too!

I posted the link with a copy of the doc a few pages back

Hey guys! New to this thread, but I was also accepted to Sac State for Spring 2018. I wanted to find a way to stay connected with the cohort. I was thinking about creating a Facebook page for the accepted applicants. Let me know if that is something you guys would be interested in joining and I will go ahead and do that.

Also, I currently live in SF and would be planning to find a place to rent near campus in Sacramento. If any of you have places to rent or would like to look for a place together, please let me know.

Congrats everyone!!

I was accepted in the program, too! And yes, I would also like to join the facebook group. :)

I would be interested in joining a facebook group.

I would also be interested in housing. I live in the middle of nowhere amidst rice fields north of Sacramento. While commutable, the distance is not terribly practical, and I don't have high-speed internet out here in the boonies.

I'm in Vallejo, but planning on living in Fairfield/Vacaville by the time first semester rolls around. I think a 45-75minite drive depending on traffic. I'm hoping I get a schedule where I only have to be there 4x, not 5x í ½í¸¥

Just wanted to clarify something: as long as we score a C- or higher in our in progress courses, we're still good to start nursing school in January right?

I just don't want to stress on getting A's in my in progress course if I don't have to.

Yes correct, at this point all you have to do is pass the class to keep the score that you got accepted with. As long as you pass, your score will not be readjusted.

tempted to just skip class these last 2 weeks lol..

As an alternate, I will be desperately checking and refreshing the nursing homepage to see if the "Spring 2018 Last Alternate Selected To Date" has any updates!!
