Sac State Nursing for Spring 2018
Hey guys, I finally got around to creating a Facebook group for us. It is called "Sacramento State Nursing Spring 2018 Cohort". Just search for it and I can add anyone who is interested. I haven't made it all pretty yet with pictures or anything, but I can figure we can all gather and talk about the upcoming semester. I am still planning on going to Sacramento to look at housing, but I haven't had time since I am finishing my Fall semester. Hopefully we can all find arrangements that are affordable.

Sac State Nursing for Spring 2018
Hey guys! New to this thread, but I was also accepted to Sac State for Spring 2018. I wanted to find a way to stay connected with the cohort. I was thinking about creating a Facebook page for the accepted applicants. Let me know if that is something you guys would be interested in joining and I will go ahead and do that. Also, I currently live in SF and would be planning to find a place to rent near campus in Sacramento. If any of you have places to rent or would like to look for a place together, please let me know. Congrats everyone!!

CSU Sacramento or CSU Long Beach
Hello! I have applied to several schools for the Spring 2018 semester into Traditional BSN programs. Among those, I have been admitted to CSU Stanislaus and CSU Long Beach. I am waiting to hear back from San Francisco State, Sacramento State, and Chico State. I received an email from Sacramento State with an estimated point cutoff for admission, and it appears that I have a very good chance of getting into the program. As of now, my top two choices would be either CSU Long Beach, or Sacramento State. I like that Sacramento State is a shorter program, and I would also be closer to my immediate family who lives in the bay area. I also feel strongly about attending Long Beach because I have heard many good things about their nursing program. I do have extended family in Southern CA, so I would still have a solid support system relatively close to me. There are many factors I am considering in my decision, including job prospects after graduation. It seems that cost of living may be cheaper in Sacramento. Is there anyone out there who attends either program or who faces a similar decision who would like to offer their two cents on which school may be the better option? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
