  1. Hey did you interview go?? I just started in the ICU but am very interested in IR but I wasn't sure if I stood a change with minimal ICU experience. I have prior step down experience as well. Hope you got it!
  2. Of course not everyone has been very helpful with all their info! My last 60 GPA: 3.6 Science GPA: 4.0 (micro in progress) Hesi: 93% I have been working as a 911 EMS/Fire Dispatcher for Sac for 8 yrs. Also have some experience interning at Sac Coroner's Office. This group has been so wonderful and I am keeping my fingers crossed for everyone :)
  3. Hey guys I got into the Sac cohort!!! Can't wait to meet you guys! Now I just have to figure out how to pay for this :)
  4. That's super smart to petition it! Good luck keep in touch!
  5. I'm taking it at Sierra. A night class would have been my first choice but those fill up so fast. The spring was my first semester back from a long hiatus so I have real crappy priority. October can't come fast enough!
  6. Oh yay that gives me a little more hope! Also I forgot to add, the patho class I got into at SBCC is 16 weeks so I'm hoping it will be a tad less workload weekly since it isn't crammed into a short summer semester. Good luck to us this semester in micro!!
  7. Webbc1, sooo none of my private messages are going through to you I just wanted to say thank you so much for the quizlet information. I applied to the Sac ABSN 2019, but know I have very little chance of getting in with my 2 prereqs in progress. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!! Thanks again.
  8. WebbC1 thank you so much for your info! I would love anything you have but I can't PM you on this site for some reason. Would you mind sending me an email when you get a chance. You are amazing! I would be taking the 8week class. You should be super proud getting a B is still really good for such a fast paced Summer class.
  9. Hey guys! For those of you that completed patho at SBCC, how was the workload? I am taking that with micro, nutrition, and psych while working part time. I just wanted to get an idea how many hours a week you found necessary to study. I took physio and pharm over the summer and felt like I studied an average of 8 hours a day but managed to get A's in both. Thanks for the info!
  10. Thank you for this wonderful post! I am planning on applying in Spring 2019, still need to complete allll my science prereqs. Just curious if anywhere they mentioned if you could have a science prereq in progress and still be able to apply for the following semester or if you need to be completely finished? Good luck to you all :)
