I took NCLEX this morning and I am already going crazy! That was the hardest test I have EVER taken! Any thoughts on whether 75 ? is good or bad? I have 3 friends who took it recently that had 75-77 ? and they all passed. What has been your experience?

75 can be good or bad.. Its hard to say... I have seen a few fail with 75, but most 90% pass..
But I am sure you are fine.... Trust me only answering 75 had to be much better than answering all 265, like I did.. But I passed also :)

Seventy-five questions means only that you answered enough of them, either right or wrong, for the computer to determine whether you can be a safe beginning practitioner. And for what it's worth, the vast majority of people who get only the minimum number of questions PASS.

I just took the NCLEX yesterday and it shut off right at 75. I felt like I didn't get even one question right. I agree that it was extremely hard. I can't stop obsessing over it!

HI! Well my computer shut off at 75 and I did pass. Of course, I couldn't tell you at that time that I did or not. Very hard test. A classmate of mine also had 75 questions and failed! So you really never know. Good luck to you!

I took my NCLEX on thursday -- 6/23. It was horrible! now I have to wait until probably Monday night to find out if i passed or not. The computer stopped me at 75 questions. Two of my classmates who got 75 passed earlier in the week. But it has been bothering me so much!!!!

I took my boards on Thurs, June 23rd and thought for sure I had failed...the computer shut off after 75 questions, and they were all so hard! I dwelled on it until Saturday, when Ifound out that I passed!! I still wonder which questions I got right/wrong, but have decided to forget it - I passed! I can't wait to start working.

How did you get your results so quickly? I took my on June 24 which is a Friday. My state does not participate in the quick results thing. My instructor told me I would have to wait until Tuesday to find out over the telephone. I checked my state board of nursing online and it is down from midnight until 2 am ( it is 12:39 am now). I can't wait another minute. I am going to end up in the hospital with a panic attack. The computer shut off at 75 questions. I had lots of prioity and check all that apply. The last 3 were killer and I think I got the last question right. I tried to look it up and its one of those questions that you can't look up. I am trying to be optimistic because everything points to me passing, but WHAT IF?????? Anyway, I am discouraged because everyone on these threads has gotton their results back so quick. Help if you know a way I can find out now.
Thanks
I wont know what I got until my state posts it up on their website tomorrow .. or tuesday morning. *sigh*
yes i am stressing about the 75 questions. everytime you stress about something you start to think crazy!!! i know the feeling

When I got my ATT, there was a sheet in it from Pearson Vue. I was able to go to their website (http://www.pearsonvue.com/nclex) and sign in to view my fresults. If they are available, it costs $7.95 - if not, it doesn't charge your credit card. The states this is available for are: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia (RN and PN), Idaho, Illinois, Iowa :), Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, NCSBN-NCLEX for Visa Screen, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia PN, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Again, this comes from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. You have to wait 2 business days to get the results....believe me...this is worth every penny!!! Hope this helps!
