Hi everyone,

I wanted to create a new discussion thread for people who are applying to the Rutgers ABSN program for Spring '19.

I applied to Newark again after not getting in for Fall '18 (didn't have Microbiology finished in time). I'm hoping that since I sent my application in early, I'll hear back early. Not sure that's how it works though.

Hi, everyone! I just received my acceptance letter today, so hopefully everyone will receive a response soon too. I'm still waiting for a few more replies from other schools, but I just wanted to say hello and answer any questions from anyone still waiting for an answer :)

Hi everyone, I received my acceptance letter to Newark yesterday via email and will be attending. I just wanted to let others know that letters are being sent out, as I know how bad the wait can be.

Hi all

I got my acceptance email today from New Brunswick campus, for those asking I had 3.75 GPA 4.0 for prereqs and minimal volunteer experience.

The wait is the worst! But I had a 3.19 GPA from undergrad, but got all amazing grades in my prerequisites. I worked at an urgent care for about 3.5 years after undergrad and just did my best to write a killer personal statement. I really think Rutgers looks at your application as a whole. I got into the New Brunswick campus program! Hope this helps!

Or does anyone know when do start expecting to hear? They said mid November at the information session but that seems so far away!

Hi everyone, I am still waiting to hearing back from Rutgers....Am I the only one who is still waiting ??feeling soo stressed and annoying....is anyone heard back anything in last couple of days ??any rejections or accepted letters ?? I am soo nervous

I'm still waiting to hear back from the New Brunswick campus. Starting to lose hope though since it's been a while since others have heard back.

Hello :) have you tried getting in contact with them? I think if you haven't received an answer yet there's a possibility you might be wait listed. the deposit was due yesterday so perhaps they're waiting to see how many seats are secured first?

The email said the deposit is due on November 2nd. I submitted a deposit a few days ago.

For reference, I received my acceptance to Newark via email on 10/15, the letter that was attached to that email was dated 10/11. I've already paid my deposit but it isn't due until 11/2 so perhaps they're waiting until after that date to send out another round of decisions.
