Hello! I've just completed my application for the Spring 2018 Rutgers ABSN program (applying for both New Brunswick and Newark) and was wondering if anyone else is applying as well? Anyone have an idea how many people are accepted at each campus? Also - does anyone know what the academic calendar will be like, i.e. is there any type of short break in the summer? I was looking around on the website and can't seem to find a tentative calendar for some reason.
Thanks!
Alyssa
I received an acceptance to New Brunswick today! I received it via email, I never received a letter.
I am a recent Rutgers NB graduate with a 3.4 in public health. All A's in my pre-reqs except for B's in Statistics and Gen Chem 2. I didn't have much experience in healthcare except for a semester long internship with a doctor's office. I had a lot of trouble with NursingCas while applying. There was a lot of back and forth. They actually returned my application to me because of a mistake on one of my transcripts. They also didn't verify my transcripts until well after the deadline. I was constantly keeping in contact with NursingCas and Rutgers.
A note to anyone applying in the future: If you have applied by the deadline, Rutgers has access to your application and received transcripts whether or not NursingCas has verified your transcripts and generated a GPA.
Good luck to everyone!
