Hello! I've just completed my application for the Spring 2018 Rutgers ABSN program (applying for both New Brunswick and Newark) and was wondering if anyone else is applying as well? Anyone have an idea how many people are accepted at each campus? Also - does anyone know what the academic calendar will be like, i.e. is there any type of short break in the summer? I was looking around on the website and can't seem to find a tentative calendar for some reason.
I got into both campuses! I will most likely attended NewArk as I am familiar with that area and it's easier to commute to. I had a 3.41 undergrad and 3.5 science GPA. I've been working as a medical assistant since January! Can't wait to meet everyone!!
I got accepted to both Newark and New Brunswick. I'm so excited!! I'll be attending Newark (easier to commute). Natural Science major, graduated in May. Overall gpa is 3.7, and my prerequisite gpa is 3.8 ( still taking Nutrition at university of Phoenix, so I need to send in my transcripts by December 15). I'm a certified home health aide. If you type into google, Rutgers Accelerated Nursing Spring 2018 Orientation, several links should pop up, and then just click the link that corresponds to the campus you plan on attending! Newark's orientation date is Friday, December 1st, 2017 from 9:00am - 5:00pm at 65 Bergen Street, Newark, NJ. We must RSVP for orientation, complete and send student health forms, complete clinical clearance forms, order uniforms, and order a nurse pack. I will try to attach the link where I found this information in this thread, but it may mark it as spam! Congrats and best of luck to everyone who has received acceptance letters! I only applied to the Newark campus, and I still haven't received a letter or email either confirming or denying my acceptance.

I only applied to the Newark campus, and have not received a letter of acceptance, rejection, or waitlist. Congrats to all of those who received excellent news, proud of you all!
