Hello! I've just completed my application for the Spring 2018 Rutgers ABSN program (applying for both New Brunswick and Newark) and was wondering if anyone else is applying as well? Anyone have an idea how many people are accepted at each campus? Also - does anyone know what the academic calendar will be like, i.e. is there any type of short break in the summer? I was looking around on the website and can't seem to find a tentative calendar for some reason.
Hi! I was accepted to both campuses on Tues by postal mail. I will probably go to New Brunswick. I am the old lady of the bunch :) I had a 3.5 overall and 3.8 in pre-reqs and more than 15 years running clinical trials from an administrative perspective. I'm SOOOOOOOOO excited. I can't wait to meet you all! I'll join the facebook page after I tell my job which won't be for awhile. Good luck to everyone still waiting!
Hey angief11 !!! Congratulations!!! Omg I remember we both applied last year and were waitlisted. Did they accept you for the same campus you were waitlisted for ?
Hey angief11 did you resubmit the same personal statement when you reapplied? Or did you redo one ?
I know you directed this question to someone else, but I also got wait listed for fall 2017 and basically I re did my entire resume/personal statement & started volunteering in a field I am really passionate about. I have not heard back yet for spring 2018 how about you?!
I updated my resume and edited my personal statement a little. But overall submitted the same thing. My nursingcas gpa did not verify until oct 24th. Not sure if that had a negative impact on my application since it was due oct 15th. I haven't heard anything back yet either.
For fall 2017 I applied on May 30 and the deadline was June 1 so I didn't get verified until June 13 and I ended up getting wait listed. But for this spring I applied in early Aug and got verified by the end of Aug but I still haven't heard back, so I honestly don't know what effects the application or not.

They accepted me for the same campus I was waitlisted. But I only applied to Newark campus . :)
