Rutgers DNP Program With My GPA

I'm curious if 3.4 is considered a low GPA to get into a college like Rutgers in NJ for the DNP program. I know their minimum is 3.0 but I'm hoping 3.4 is something they would overlook. Thank you for your inputs in advance!

Hi there. I’m not too sure but as long as you are above the minimum u should still be considered. Im still waiting to hear back from them for the fall, was told on Friday that decisions are still being made. Have u heard anything?

Honestly I'm gonna be applying for September 2020 haha I'm just trying to see what I have to do to be ready when I apply in February I think it was. I didn't want Rutgers to tell me I'm missing something I could have finished before I applied. I do plan on going for their DNP program, though. Hope you get a response soon ?

I applied for fall 2019 as well. when I called today they said we should here back in a few weeks ??? good luck guys!

Hi FinallyNP!! Thank u SO much for posting ur update. The wait has been grueling. I’m actually waiting to hear so I can make the decision to switch jobs at this point. I told them on the interview I should know by June 10th...it’s crazy. Praying for all!! Thank u again FinallyNP. Still waiting to hear..at this point I’ll be fine if I’m waitlisted I just need to know so I can prepare my next career steps.

Hey, no problem! yes mine still says no decision. I hope they accept us! I hate waiting, I'm so impatient with these things, the anticipation drives me nuts haha

I applied for the post masters DNP executive weekend model at the Newark campus. I hope they can accept me this semester because Newark only has fall start dates. all spring start dates are in new Brunswick and I cant drive all the way there =( i'll lose my mind and end up being one of your patients haha
