Starting this topic for those who applied to Rutgers CRNA program to start 2021.
I applied this year, for my second time. I do not believe invites for interviews have gone out yet but we can talk about updates here. ?

I sent my transcripts months ago and admissions confirmed my app was complete and all transcripts were received, but online it still says they are missing. Makes me a little nervous, but I can only call and email so much haha.

The same issue happened last year. As long as admission said your application is complete. They need to change there application system.

At the open house he said he's not concerned about hours. You need to understand and be able to explain the cases you saw during the time you were shadowing.

Has anyone interviewed before? If so do you really need to bring your official CCRN score, cause I honestly have no idea where to find it

Yes,
I applied and submitted all my documentation. It continued to state online “not received”. So I emailed them and made sure everything was updated. They also emailed me and told me the delay from their end won’t be held against me.

I applied and have not heard anything. I applied to Columbia as well. I heard Hofstra on Long Island is opening a school this year. I am applying there too. I’ll decide once I get in what program is right for me.

How did everyone show proof that they did shadow hours?

Good luck everyone!
Has anyone received an invite to interview yet?
The interviews are in November. So I'm assuming the invites will be in October.

I have not heard anything either. Previous years it seems like they started mid September? I submitted a separate shadowing form but some people I know said they put it on their resume too. Not sure how they want it; it’s not specified anywhere and I didn’t ask. Did anyone ask about the shadowing experience?
Yes, they did a virtual open house and the director of the program said to put on the resume. He wasn't big on how much hours you needed. He was more concerned if you understood what you saw and you will be able to interpret it if you get called back for an interview.

I had contacted admissions and they told me you needed to submit proof so I sent a form that I had a CRNA I shadowed sign. However, I’m sure putting it on the resume will work also ??
I went to the open house and heard the other director say the same thing. They seem alittle disorganized in the process. fingers crossed.
