Rutgers Camden Accelerated BSN

I'm currently taking pre-reqs to get into nursing school. I have my BA in psychology and am looking to get into an Accelerated BSN program. I have my eyes on Rutgers Camden. I was wondering if anyone had any info on getting accepted to this school. Any currents students enrolled in the program? Did you take the "recommended" pre-requisites prior to admission (Human growth & development, nutrition, & genetics)? I was planning to apply for Fall of 2015, but now that they're making the additional pre-reqs mandatory for starting that semester, I'm thinking I'll go ahead and apply for Spring 2015 admission and cross my fingers. (I haven't taken the additional pre-reqs) My BA GPA was 3.76 and I have A's in my science pre-reqs (I still have two to take in the fall). Any advice? Should I just go ahead and apply for spring admission, or should I just take the rest of the pre-reqs and shoot for fall admission?

I've sent two emails to Rutgers as well as calling, none were returned. I feel like I'm in the dark a little here.

I was accepted today! I have been speaking with someone in admissions and they said the spring cohort will have answers this week!

Thanks! Ill keep checking. Do you mind telling me your credentials?? I Have a 3.0 GPA and graduated with a BS in Bio. I have all my pre reqs done except for Mico which I am currently taking now. Im hoping my GPA doesn't hurt my chances!

I have a 3.4gpa. Bs - exercise science minor in biology. Two sport athlete and I am currently taking chem, stats, and dev psyc. I think youll be a-okay! keep me posted. Where are you from?!

I live in Berlin, NJ. It is only about 30 mins from Rutgers Camden hence the reason I am so eager to go there as opposed to traveling a long distance! How about you?

I will definitely keep you posted once I hear something! I hope its soon though! Any ideas to when this program starts??

I live in ewing, nj so I'm about the same distance away. However, I did apply to NYU which I would love to attend. Still haven't heard. But as for Rutgers... Easy commute!!! The program starts jan 26th

Just found out I was accepted as well, but I have so many questions still about this program. It seems a few of you have talked to people from admissions. Does anyone know when we have to give a decision by or how much the program costs? I've been looking around on the website but I can't really find much unless I'm looking in the wrong place! Congratulations to everyone who was accepted so far!

On the acceptance page there is a tab that gives you some more details like decision dates. Once you're on your sign on click around! We need to decide by dec 2nd. I also found this link about tuition.... Let me know if it works

Congrats on being accepted!! I have been anxiously awaiting a response as well and was wondering what you meant by check your page. How did they contact you that you were accepted? Was it through your Nursing Cas page or do you have another account with the school?

I applied directly through rutgers. This page is for Rutgers Camden! I know main campus goes through NursingCas so Id keep checking that
