Rutgers Accelerated Nursing- Fall 2015 (Newark)

Wow, seems like no one is applying here or maybe we just have a lot of readers. In any case i hope to apply for the accelerated nursing program for Fall 2015. originally, it was to be Spring 2016 because i haven't finished prereqs but I'm hoping to be done next spring (of 2015) and hoping they extend the deadline. Anyone else?!!

I will be routing for you as I will be attending the ABSN program in the spring. Although I was accepted into the Fall program I am not able to start then (for personal reasons).... so good luck!!!!

For those who have been waitlisted, I have officially deferred so hopefully a slot will be opening up!

Yes I was looking forward to starting this fall and like you said, after all of this whirlwind... but at least I know that I have a spot for the spring semester so that def keeps my piece of mind at bay...

And who knows, maybe I'll be seeing a couple of you fall attendees in the library. God knows we will be studying our butts off : lol

They just called me to find out if I was going to accept the offer...weird.

I just sent them an email to see if that is actually true, because one week is barely enough time to get that all completed. Realistically, even if we ordered our background checks and drug tests immediately when we got our acceptance letters (I ordered mine over the weekend), they may not be done in time before July 20th. I actually just had to call the company that runs the background checks because my forms kept uploading blank and I hadn't received my drug test forms after 48 hours of waiting. If Rutgers can't understand that we need more than one week to get all our paperwork and physicals completed, we ought to remind them of the several months many of us waited for acceptance letters. We won't even have our RUID until next week most likely. Hopefully we just had to have ordered the tests by July 20th and have until the semester begins to get everything completed and sent in. I will let you know when I hear back from them.

Did is you get your RUID yet?

I just paid the deposit today so I don't expect it anytime soon. At this point I don't expect anything until orientation and i am ok with that. I'm just going to work on physicals and stuff.

Hi sweetdream, I called them yesterday for RUID ( I paid deposit last Friday), and they said they will sent RUID in next 2 weeks.

By orientation I guess. I'm so worried they will cancel the program or something, they seem so flakey :/

I dont think they will cancel it, since this program has been existed for many years.
