Rutgers Accelerated Nursing- Fall 2015 (Newark)

Wow, seems like no one is applying here or maybe we just have a lot of readers. In any case i hope to apply for the accelerated nursing program for Fall 2015. originally, it was to be Spring 2016 because i haven't finished prereqs but I'm hoping to be done next spring (of 2015) and hoping they extend the deadline. Anyone else?!!

For those going to the newark campus, are you worried about the area/parking?

I did here about a few incidents in the past, but a few weeks ago I noticed the security increase with a police unit in the parking lots and an officer at the crosswalk.

That is my major concern. I got my official letter in the mail. Orientation is July 29th

I didn't get my letter in the mail yet. I had the same concerns but its better for me since I'm a town over from Newark. Was the orientation date and location included in the letter?

I received both letters but only Newark had the orientation packet with it.

Does anyone have any input on the pros/cons of each campus?

I am a little worried about parking in Newark as it is Newark, but my brother also goes to school in Newark and hasn't had any problems yet, they try very hard to keep the campuses in the area secure. Newark is much closer to me than NB

You got an actual "packet"? I just got a extra letter explaining stuff and talking about orientation.

I heard sometimes you can't get parking unless it's an early morning class. Plus it doesn't seem you will know where you do clinicals until much later. I only have one car in my household so I am trying to brainstorm.
