Rutgers ABSN Summer 2019

Published

Hi Guys, I didn't see a thread for the Rutgers ABSN Summer 2019 so I figured I would start one.

Has anyone applied to the program?

I received my acceptance via email. I saw the email just before I drove out to take HESI A2 Entrance exam for NJCU application. I honestly did not think I would get as my undergraduate G.PA was not too great but I did well with my prerequisites and I believe my personal statement helped me too.

There was a personal statement portion? When I applied it seemed like Rutgers only asked for grades/transcripts.

It was like an essay box that was part of the application

Anyone have information on what class schedule is like?

Hi,

I'm anxiously waiting for acceptance notification as I am only taking a Nutrition course for my Rutgers application and today is my last day to withdraw with refund.

Anyone get accepted to New Brunswick or only Newark?

I'm surprised that they sent emails as the application page says that all acceptance notification will be done on the status screen of the application.

Could you please inform as to the email address the acceptance email came from as I want to set up notifications for it?

Thanks.

You might want to check your spam because that’s where my first email went to. It was from [email protected] and the email was sent by the associate director of admissions.

Second email was from a woman named Barbara and that showed up in my regular inbox.

Also I got an email as well as an update in status on the application page. Again, I did the reenrollment application so perhaps that was updated before the applications for outside students.

Yea same here I used reenrollment application and got a message from a guy David and then a second from Barbara. I wasnt able to go to any information sessions so I scheduled a meeting with Barbara back in the summer. Very nice lady

Did anyone take their chemistry at a community college ? If so , what was the course number ?

I wonder if like you guys said , the reenrollment applicants go their acceptance letters first. Now I’m anxious lol.

I took Chem 2 with lab at Bergen Community . I don't remember course number but I took it with Ted Kopec

So did you have chem 1 as a pre req or you literally just took chem 2 ?

I think I took the wrong chem, I emailed them to ask if mine was ok but they said they can't do "course by course evaluations"

That’s what it’s looking like honestly based on the posts. I think all decisions should be out by early March, so hang in there! Hope you get in!

I had taken Chem 1 and 2 at Rutgers for undergraduate and passed but they weren't high grades. It was like 8 years since I last took both courses so I had to retake chem but at Bergen I managed to just bypassed Chem 1 and went straight for Chem 2. I studied really hard for the A though
