  1. What is your experience in the military? Are you in the army? Active or reserve? How many years?
  2. I'm currently working as a physical therapy assistant in Jersey city NJ but going back into nursing school to get a second B.S. I considered working as a civilian nurse for 2 yrs a then signing up to become a nurse in military (I'd be 35). I've already paid for my first undergraduate degree and will have my second paid for so I'd be going in with no debt which will be nice. If I sign on as a reserve, what is the time commitment? Are deployments usually around or near hot zones? Would I stay local in NJ or do they pick where they send you?
  3. I have withdrawn my seat as well and wish you all the best of luck!
  4. Just curious but any current students in the program planning on moving on to military nursing after?
  5. Is there a parking permit I can buy for the year?
  6. All classes are in Rossey Hall right? Are classes every day or will they vary with 1 or 2 days free from class and/or clinicals? Also since we start in September that would mean June/July graduation?
  7. Thank for taking time on answering some questions! It really helps alot. I am also planning on working a few hours part time or as needed. Are there shuttles to the west side light rail station or is it safe enough to walk to?
  8. Like muscle movements, attachments, location, and major innervations? I've taken A&P twice, once at Rutgers as an undergrad and several years later at Bergen as a prerequisite and served as an undergraduate lab teaching assistant for Rutgers in the cadaver lab but to be honest some of the more detailed information I have forgotten.?
  9. How does this program compare to that of Rutgers? Anything you've heard of about a comparison in terms of preparation to become a nurse, passing NCLEX, difficulty of classes, clinicals?
  10. Did you hear back from another school? You are withdrawing from Newark or NB?
  11. Yea New Brunswick is really nice. That's where I went for undergrad from 2005-2011. Its changed alot since I graduated. I got accepted into Rutgers Newark and I like New Brunswick campus better. I didnt apply there because its further from where I live. NJCU would be cheaper if it's at 32k because i think Rutgers is around 35k-36k.
  12. FDU is strict on G.P.A. I didnt get into their program because of my undergrad G.P.A from 2011 even though I had 4.0 on the prerequisites and great letters of Recommendation. I only got into Rutgers and have yet to hear from NJCU. Felician I finish application but they lost my resume in mail but at that point i decided not to pursue admission to Felician
  13. Have accepted any? I only applied to Felician, NJCU,FDU,Rutgers and got into 1.
