Rutgers ABSN Summer 2020 / Fall 2020

Hello, all

I am trying to apply to ABSN in Rutgers for Summer 2020 and Fall 2020.
But when I am trying to select, only the Spring 2020 ABSN is allowed to select.
Since I am not available to apply for spring 2020, not sure what to do.

Is this just me? Please anyone. Share your application experience.

I think I'm going to call and ask them why that is. I'm very curious. Does anyone feel like they give re enrollment students priority? Maybe that's why you can only pick one?

Did anyone applying to NB take "Chemistry of Life" for their chemistry prerequisite requirement?

Thanks! New Brunswick campus. I was only able to apply to one since I was re-enrolling

@Ellie34 applied to NB as re enrolling as well ahh I don’t have any emails! I submitted my application in mid January. If you don’t mind me asking what were your stats and when did you apply ?

I sent it Jan 18th I believe and included a personal statement. I volunteered as an EMT for about a year but didn’t include that in my personal statement because I thought there would be another place to put it- there wasn’t ? I sent my transcripts the 18th as well but for some reason they didn’t send from my other schools so I had to hand deliver them. Call to double check they have all your transcripts!
GPA- 3.65

My first year was completed at another school and I did pretty poor. I had to give them that transcript as well so if you didn’t have a great semester here or there they look past it! Good luck to everyone! I also heard to check spam folders in email FYI

@nina19001 congratulations!! Is Rutgers the only school you applied to? Excited for you ? When did you submit your app?

I applied to a few others. Hunter College (I’m originally from NY), Johns Hopkins, Columbia. But I have family obligations (2 kids) and Columbia and Hopkins,while great, are so expensive I personally couldn’t justify the expense. Rutgers really is one of the best values for a top rated nursing program around.

@nina19001 oh that's great! I have a son as well- applied to Saint Peters, RU and NJCU for the reason of cost for value! Its too hard to justify twice the cost when you have little ones. Best of luck to you and your family and congrats again.
