Rutgers ABSN Summer 2020 / Fall 2020

Hello, all

I am trying to apply to ABSN in Rutgers for Summer 2020 and Fall 2020.
But when I am trying to select, only the Spring 2020 ABSN is allowed to select.
Since I am not available to apply for spring 2020, not sure what to do.

Is this just me? Please anyone. Share your application experience.

For now just Molloy and Umass-Amherst. But i need to take a TEAS test for molloy. ? i guess i will apply more college in February. My chem grade is not high either. i got a B in general chem II and a C+ in organic. My overall gpa is 3.3.

You never know!! They look “at the whole person.” My GPA is good: 3.7 undergrad and 4.0 prerequisites but they wouldn’t give me a direct answer about the chem class and said just to apply. ??‍♀️ Time will tell! I’m applying to Saint peters and NJCU. Took the Teas and have the Hesi Friday.

Does anyone know how soon after the Summer 2020 application deadline we here about acceptances? Also does anyone have any experience with how the admissions office feels about chemistry courses at Bucks County Community College?

Don’t know about Bucks but a friend of mine is in the spring cohort and they found out 2 weeks after the deadline.

For those who know folks who were or are currently in the ABSN program, what do the workload and schedule look like? How many days are they in clinicals? How many days in class? Do things seem manageable?

@Nina19001 A friend of mine is literally one week in at the Newark locations and said they have class all day Tuesday, Shorter day Wednesday, Clinical Thursday and one class Friday. They are off Mondays. She just got started so she hasn't been able to tell me how its going and how she's managing quite yet. She also said that the schedule changes every semester! Hope this helps!

@Nina19001 she did her undergrad in BS degree form Rutgers. I assume there.

I applied as well, I'm a Rutgers alum so I was only able to choose one campus. Does anyone know why that is?

Yes, I’m a Rutgers alum as well. I think we can only choose one campus I’m not sure why. I think you might be able to change campuses after you’re accepted.

I’m also a Rutgers New Brunswick alum and applied to NB. I would have also applied to Newark but found out like many of you that re-applications are limited to one campus and one program
