Rutgers ABSN Summer 2020 / Fall 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello, all

I am trying to apply to ABSN in Rutgers for Summer 2020 and Fall 2020.
But when I am trying to select, only the Spring 2020 ABSN is allowed to select.
Since I am not available to apply for spring 2020, not sure what to do.

Is this just me? Please anyone. Share your application experience.

thank you !!!! And congrats!!!!!!

Did anyone heard back from Rutgers yet after the 13th?

Still haven't heard anything ?

I just received an offer for admission for Summer 2020. Super excited as this program is cheaper and closer to home than the other program I was accepted to. Congrats to the people already accepted and good luck to the people still awaiting. Don't lose hope yet.

@NurseJ445 congratulations!! Which campus

I applied to a few others. Hunter College (I’m originally from NY), Johns Hopkins, Columbia. But I have family obligations (2 kids) and Columbia and Hopkins, while great, are so expensive I personally couldn’t justify the expense. Rutgers really is one of the best values for a top rated nursing program around.

Hi I am also from NY and I got admission into NB campus, due to out of state tuition do you know how much we are end up paying?

I also got into mercy college so I am confused if I should pick a new low cost program vs Rutgers and high tuition cost plus dorm expense?

Kindl let me know, and congrats again!

Is Rutgers program better than Mercy College NY program?

Kindly enlightened me.

Specializes in PMHNP.

I currently live in the Princeton area, so I am eligible for NJ tuition, but I believe the out of state tuition for the program is in the mid-40's. I know that Rutgers is ranked higher in US News & World Report. But if you want to stay in NY, you should ask nurses in NY if Mercy has a better local reputation than Rutgers. A lot of healthcare facilities give preference to local nursing schools. I know Hunter College has a very good reputation in New York (actually comparable to Columbia and NYU) among practitioners.
