Rutgers ABSN Spring 2021

Hey! I figured I'd start a thread as I haven't found one for this upcoming semester. Has anyone applied for Rutgers ABSN Spring 2021 start?

I have applied and am currently just waiting on a response. I know I have spoken to someone at the school and they have mentioned that some people have already gotten their decisions.

I read the admission requirements page like 30 times. When I applied in September I remember I never put in any information for the BLS Card. I was hoping they would contact me but they never did so after a month (today) I contacted them and they gave me an email address to send it to them. But like the person said above maybe they ask for it once you get accepted who really knows.

The only thing the portal shows for me is my transcripts and my $70 fee.

I did the re-enrollment app so I don't even see transcripts. Unless there's another portal I'm not aware of LOL

See for me I found out I needed it because after the open house Monday I went and applied but instead of noting I was a transfer student I put that it was my first time thinking first time at Rutgers and applied to the school of arts and sciences. Once I did that I called to see if they got my app cuz it was like way too easy they said no we don’t have it SAS has it so they need to send it to us. I emailed them they said nursing has to do it. Got the run around and finally was told to reach out to Newark nursing and I emailed them and instead of emailing me back when I checked in the am to see if they got my electronic transcripts noticed a second app that said nursing. And I was still feeling you easy an reached out via the chat the lady said I have such and such transcripts but where is the BLS because that’s all you’re missing. They need to make it clear that they want it so people like us can hand it in on time. I mean oct 15 is the deadline for documents had I not made that mistake I wouldn’t have been as paranoid to double and triple check. But I did tell them mine expires in November and she said show proof I’m registered to re cert so that they know I’ll have one valid for Spring. I’m registered for nov but I’m feeling like I need to do this before the 15th so I don’t get screwed.

I only got the confirmation from Rutgers-SAS (my undergrad) that they received it but maybe this is a sign I should reach out to them just to double-check that they have everything. Ughh I hate the waiting game ?

I was able to sign up for one like a 4 days before the class so if you have time definitely try to just to be safe.

@ecc888 tomorrow I’m def going to sign up for one in the week. I’m not taking chances and I’d def double check if you’re not missing anything not that we only have really 10 business days to submit anything

Hi All,

Getting declined for unknowingly missing a document is definitely my worst fear. 

I submitted my application, fee, and arranged for my transcripts to be sent over when the application window opened on September 1st. Under "Required For Application Review", I see that my transcripts (from 2 schools) and $70 fee were received on Sept. 2nd. 

I received and replied to an email on 9/22 requesting a Federal photo ID and SSN to verify my first name (I have a unique one and use a "preferred name") and identity. I see that they received my "Passport Photo Page"  sent via fax under the "Required Upon Enrollment" section. I don't see the status for the SSN which was sent via a secured link (not fax). Right now, this is the document I'm worried about and following with them.

Has anyone received any other request they would like to share? Or perhaps, a document under the "Required" section that I do not see. They did not request a BLS, but I faxed one this morning. I'll see if it shows up under the "Required" section.

Good Afternoon, 

I would highly suggest reaching out to make sure everything is OK and that you aren't missing anything. I will say that I noticed this morning that a transcript I saw was required was received and I had another one I mailed out with it I did not see that status of and I reached out to see if they got it as well as the BLS and the proof of registration for re certification and the young lady told me the application is complete as they received all components. I just noticed they extended the application deadline as well.

Not sure if anyone is applying for Camden- but the BLS is only needed after you are accepted and you don’t need anything that’s pending etc

Hey I submitted my re-enrollment application for the Newark campus on Sept. 14th. Did anyone else receive any correspondence from admissions yet?

I submitted mine around the same time. I asked about the status of all my documents and they said my application was complete and under review. That's about it LOL.

Can you share the email please ? I just got my BLS certificate and I would like to submit it .
