  1. $70 application fee $150 seat fee once confirmed you're coming $140 for uniform $160ish for drug test & background $ whatever your doctor charges per visit to get your shots and fill out your medical forms. Then you have 5 or 6 pre-orientation assignments before the actual orientation. (not hard)
  2. @ecc888 Did you create a Net ID yet? I'm a little stressed out. I'm taking two pre-req classes right now and it's a lot of work. On top of that there is orientation in Dec when finals start and immunization records that are due by Jan 5th. A (TB) test requires 2 doctors visits and you have to wait 2 weeks before the second shot. Guess better get used to multitasking a bunch of different things.
  3. @oRaNge27 Congratulations!!
  4. @SBRNS Well I mean everyone applying has pretty decent grades I would assume so the only way to stand out is the supplemental stuff but having a 4.0 doesn't hurt! Goodluck
  5. @SBRNS I think it's a holistic review of applications. They look at grades and GPA but favor an upward trend if you didn't necessarily do good at the beginning of your academics. Also, the number of credits a person took per semester and what type of classes for example like taking Organic Chem with Physics perhaps is much harder than Orgo by itself. Then the essay is a big one that can make or break acceptance from my experience and all the people I know who've been to RU. Experience doesn't hurt your chances especially if they see you're serious about the RN field.
  6. No I went to Kean University! Those are actually good stats! From my experience, RU likes to see improvement from past academic history. So if you did get that C early on and started getting A's and B's that is a good thing.
  7. @Ry_ari This was my first time applying to the RN program. What are your stats like GPA and all that? @SBRNS I actually went on the portal and saw a big red Congrats sign LOL and saw from there. Then the emails started coming in the next couple of business days.
  8. @SBRNS Trust me I get it, the waiting period is the worst anxiety ever. I submitted my BLS on Oct 1st and got my acceptance on the 8th. But like @Ry_ari said with the new extension a reasonable date is the first week of November to around the 15th. Just keep yourself busy!
  9. When I submitted my BLS I got an email the next day saying "received and added to your file". Also when you get accepted you have to pay a $150 deposit to save your seat and some admissions counselor emailed me saying I had until Oct 29th, 2020 to complete that. But that was before the new extension so if my guess is correct the first week of November everyone should start getting updates on their apps and have until the end of November to make that deposit.
  10. I think they been really backed up since the NB location shut down and they probably have a ton of applications to go through.
  11. @jr624666 What are your stats? A friend of mine who is currently in semester 3 told me that they shut down the New Brunswick school and moved it to Newark. So that 2021 cohort will have maybe 100 students don't give up!
  12. Thanks everyone! @TangWoah I submitted my application Sept 4th Yes @Jacob1988 I do have BLS I talked to them on chat and they sent me an email address. Just go on the website and chat with the admissions person.
  13. Thank you!! My stats: I went to a community college for two years so I had two transcripts 1st School GPA: 3.36 2nd School GPA: 3.55 RU Pre-req GPA: 3.73 CNA Job: only 4 months My essay I think helped me out the most. I put my soul into that thing LOL. It was really genuine and talked about my weaknesses as well as my strengths and how I got to where I am today. -Goodluck you got this!!
  14. *** I got accepted for the Spring semester !!
