I just attended the Rutgers ABSN information session this past Monday. It seems there were a couple of people applying for this upcoming fall (2016), including myself, and it was suggested that we connect! I'm applying to both campuses but hope to get into Newark at the very least since its a closer commute for me. I'm just starting the NursingCas application.

This is kinda of what I was told by admissions, as well. Some students apparently won't have a decision until August 1st. That's AFTER the orientation date, keep in mind. I don't know what's going on there, but, that's a bit ridiculous IMHO.
Really? I thought the deadline for enrollment deposit was due on July 15th and the admitted pool should be finalized by now. I was surprised that the admissions telling you to wait till August.
A nurse I work with went to this program and she said some people didn't find out until the day before orientation that they got in... But to wait until after is ridiculous
I spoke to Rutgers Admission today. Please see below for the questions and answers:
1) I have been placed on the waitlist and I have the understanding that the orientation for both Newark and NB. When will I know if I have been accepted or denied?
A: It is okay if the orientation is missed, but it can take up to the first day of classes to get a reply.
2) My chemistry will be expired this year, but I have taken up to organic chemistry can that replace my chemistry 2?
A: I really did not get much of a clear answer with this because my organic chemistry courses were actually taken in the summer of 2011, but it seemed like they might have taken the orgo.
3) Would I be able to apply to the spring 2017 cycle while my chemistry 2 is pending?
A: No, all science courses must be in before applying.

��... We still have time!! I know someone who was accepted yesterday afternoon into the program. So at least the wait list is moving. It will get to us in due time.
Does anyone know how many people are usually waitlisted?
Does anyone know if they will actually use the entire waitlist? I've been told for previous semesters they have, but this just might be the semester that they don't.
