I have applied to this program and have an interview this month! Trying to figure out if I would move to Chicago if I got in or attempt to do it out of state. Anyone else have an interview, been accepted, or currently doing this program? Any comments and advice would be helpful!

Hi Sam! I have been accepted to the DNP to start this fall. My advisor and interviewer made me feel very comfortable with living out of state and completing the program easily. Hope this helps!

I don't go to or teach at this specific university, however, Chicago is a great place to live and work!

I am from Chicago. Rush university is a top nursing school here and not easy to get accepted. If you are/were accepted for the BSN to DNP track, I don't know how you would avoid not moving here. To my knowledge this program has a heavy classroom requirement.

Hi there! I have applied to Rush DNP Family Nurse Practitioner program and wondering if you have any insight on how you're enjoying the program and it's strengths. Also, any tips for the interview? I have mine next month.
Thanks!
