1-In your opinion what does a nurse do? Or what is the role of a nurse?
2-Tell me about a time when things didn't go as planned and how you dealt with it.
3- What is the most important thing Rush has to offer to you?
4-What is the most problematic issue with Rush's program for you? (I think this question had to do with you foreseeing any issues you might have trouble with, like fast place, work load, etc. I said it was interesting that they have the most clinical hours out of all the other programs I applied to. I also asked why.
5-The Rush program makes a strong recommendation that you fully commit yourself to the program, meaning the 1st and 2nd term, you should not work; do you foresee any issues with this?
That's the gist of the questions I remember! Hopefully they are right and can help you out!
I think they are asking everyone different questions because mine were indeed different from this.
I felt the SAME way! I believe we should all be notified on March 8th about whether we are accepted or not and as I mentioned before if you don’t get in the program, they can give you feedback as to why.
Thats a bummer they asked different questions. I keep going over the interview in my head over and over and that’s what I remember ?
@springy61 maybe we are being too hard on ourself and did get fine! What semester did you apply for DePaul?
I also had different questions than those that were previously listed. My interviewer did say she will be asking everyone the same questions but maybe each interviewer has their own variation.
I do feel the same as all of you in which my interview went okay. It wasn't great but it wasn't awful, kind of in between casual and serious. My interviewer was very nice though so that did kind of ease the nerves a little.
I was asked which other programs I was considering which I wasn't expecting.
Best of luck to all!!! Eagerly (and obnoxiously impatiently lol) awaiting March 8.
I definitely wonder how they choose who they admit and I also wonder how many of the 250 people actually want to go to Rush and/or how many people actually get interviewed. Not that this will ease my anxiety. I am convinced that not all schools work for all people and I think with my annoying hyper focused and un-shameless use of a school's resources I would be a good fit for Rush. I didn't quite get that sense for UIC. DePaul was a little to unorganized in being responsive to emails but small cohort size made it my second choice. What about you guys?

Oh and something about how Rush values diversity so how would you contribute to that?
