rpn/lpn to RN fastest option

Hi I'm currently completing my rpn program in Ontario and would like to complete my degree. I was wondering if anyone else on here has successfully completed their degree and how long did bridging take you?

What would be the fastest route to complete my degree? I am not limiting myself to just Ontario programs.

Bridging courses in Ontario are 3 years full time. There are several schools that over them. I believe the bridging program through Athabasca in Alberta is also 3 years full time but can be done online through distance education. However, I believe you need to complete your clinical placements in Alberta.

The shortest time-frame I know of is 3 years.

You can do it online through Nippissing as well.

The nipissing program online is PT.. But if you do well in the first semester you can request to take a higher courseload in the following semester.

Bridging from rpn to rn is gonna be 3 years full time. The UofIT has one that goes all year round so is like 6 months sooner but its all basically the same.

I wanted to ask, the Nipissing blended learning program, do you need to be employed by the partner agency first before starting? Or I can do the program without being employed? For the longest time, I had the impression of being employed first before applying for program.

Thanks

For the nipissing blended program you need to be employed with a partner agency. However, if you can have your employer added to the list. My coworker got it started at our employer last year.

So it is possible to get your employer added to the list.

Hello everyone, may I ask if any of you have started your studies at Nipissing? If so, how did it go? I heard about the blended program very recently and I am interested to apply for admission. However, I am also considering the financial factors as well.

Hi Trishrpn80, did you already started at the blended program at nipissing? If you did, may I ask how much did it cost you to start in your first semester?
