Roseman University Fall/October 2020 Cohort

Published

Hey everyone, starting a new thread for the upcoming Fall/October 2020 Cohort.

Applications just opened up this month.

Curious how many applicants there will be due to COVID-19.

Feel free to post your stats/campus preference and please state if you're a first-time or rollover applicant.

I plan on applying but can’t til third round since I’m finishing up microbio and it doesn’t end for another 3 weeks. I’ve previously applied , had interview but was advised to repeat some of my science courses since I barely had min GPA.

Awh okay goodluck! I am also taking Microbiology this Summer. I think you should be okay since you are applying for October. Do you have any campus preference?

Yes I live in Henderson maybe 5 mins from campus so praying for acceptance to Henderson campus!

Hi!! I'm coming from California, I have no preference with campus, whichever I hopefully can get into? I applied once the application opened! My prereq GPA is 3.36 and my last 60 credits GPA is 3.9. I submitted my TEAS but since they aren't considering it, I feel like it's gonna be more competitive...I've applied to a couple of other schools around the country but not my home state (because they are crazy competitive LOL).

Hi everyone! I'm from California. I applied with a Cumulative GPA of 3.5 and a pre req GPA of 3.2. This is my first time applying and I'm applying to the Henderson campus. Are you guys applying anywhere else? I'm really anxious! Do you guys think it'll be more competitive because the TEAS scored isn't invovled?

@sbarreto06 I think interviews would be virtual because of the pandemic, but who knows

yea I definitely feel like it's gonna be more competitive without the TEAS scores. I've applied to a couple schools on the east coast, Illinois, and a few in the south. Trying to not put all my eggs in one basket even though this school is the closest to me since I'm from California too!

Gotcha!! I hope to get acceptance to Henderson as well once I apply for the next cohort for the BSN program. How is it like living in Henderson? My boyfriend is moving to a Vegas next month and we are looking at housing there

Hi nice to meet you!! I agree that the process will be more competitive since there’s no TEAS score. You have pretty good scores. My grades aren’t finalized yet but RN my prereq GPA is 3.5 and my 54 credits is 3.3 (I get my bachelors this December). I’m from Virginia so I’m also looking at another nursing school there but Roseman is my top choice

Your scores are pretty good as well! I'm actually applying to 2 ABSN programs in Virginia too LOL Roseman is one of my top 5 choices but the 90% on every exam is kind of daunting

I love the area!!

Hi everyone! I will also be applying and hoping to get into the Henderson campus.

My pre-req GPA is 3.8. Last 60 units is 3.8. Cumulative undergrad GPA is 3.4!

Would love some insight on what living in Henderson is like, not too excited about the weather.. I’m also from California and spoiled with beautiful weather

I just applied but used my Pathophysiology course in place of micro. I’m not sure if they’ll take it so I may be a roll over student. I’ve already been admitted to one program but Roseman is definitely my top choice

Oh and my cum is 3.68 and pre req was 3.11, so we’ll see....

does anyone know what the process is like once you apply?

Hi! I applied about a week ago. I'm from California! My cumulative is 3.1 and Prereqs GPA is 3.6. I haven't taken the TEAS, it's kind of perfect timing that they're waiving it for this round. I'm hoping to attend the Henderson campus. My advisor said I probably won't hear anything for another 3 weeks or so whether or not I get invited to an interview. *fingers crossed

Have you received an invite to interview yet?

Hi Marie! I haven’t yet my advisor said they’ll probably start sending invites early June. Hope we all hear something back soon ?
