Roseman University Fall/October 2020 Cohort

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey everyone, starting a new thread for the upcoming Fall/October 2020 Cohort.

Applications just opened up this month.

Curious how many applicants there will be due to COVID-19.

Feel free to post your stats/campus preference and please state if you're a first-time or rollover applicant.

I applied for the august on campus cohort however I would like to go home possibly once to twice a month in So cal. Do you think it would be difficult to do that being in the august cohort? Also, having seen both the traditional and hybrid programs, which do you recommend?

It depends on your learning style. If you are in the on campus cohort, going home that often won’t be as feasible. I liked the hybrid program because it gave me the chance to study on my own time while working as well. But it’s very easy to fall behind and being on campus will give you more structure

I’m a former student not current. What’s your question?

Hi! Can I ask you a couple of questions? I got accepted into a South Jordan campus (June cohort). If possible, can you tell me about a daily schedule and clinicals hours? I will be with two kids and need to know how to plan my day.

Thank you!

Hi I start ABSN in June- looking for a lil insight in regards to the scheduling (I know they’ll give us some details in orientation but looking to get any info I can sooner) I need to look into childcare so was wondering how many days a week I would be occupied with school/being on campus for all that’s needed? Also, the Winter break seems to overlap with a nursing research topic - any idea how that break goes?

For anyone who was considered an alternate candidate, what was the process like? Were you ever able to get admitted to the cohort you originally applied for or did you have to apply for the next cohort and roll over?

@Michellestudentnurse@Esal3

Hi! I have been wanting to reach out to a former nursing student that graduated from Roseman and I had a few questions I wanted to ask.

I got accepted for the August 2021 cohort @ South Jordan Utah. Im super excited to be attending and moving out of state (im coming from California) but im wondering how exams are in the program. I know that the passing percentage on an exam is 90% and that seems really daunting, however, how well do professors supply you with the resources you need to succeed?

Tips and advice on exams or to a future nursing student are greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Did you get in?
