Hey everyone, starting a new thread for the upcoming Fall/October 2020 Cohort.
Applications just opened up this month.
Curious how many applicants there will be due to COVID-19.
Feel free to post your stats/campus preference and please state if you're a first-time or rollover applicant.

Alternate candidate means that you met all the criteria, went through the interview process, and got accepted into the program, but the cohort is full. Meaning that you are on the waitlist aka "alternate candidate." So if someone decides to not do the program, then you would be next in line
CONGRATS to everyone that go accepted! I graduated from the program a year ago if anyone wants to shoot me a dm or needs some guidance during the program. It's not easy, but it is doable

Hey! I noticed you got accepted to Concordia Irvine. I was also accepted and was going back and forth with the pros and cons of both programs. I was just wondering if you chose to go there? Both programs are great and it's so hard to decide LOL!

OK that makes sense-that’s what I figured but it’s weird that they deemed some of us alternate candidates who haven’t even interviewed Since the last round of interviews wasn’t done- so that threw me off.

Hey there ? Yes I chose Concordia Irvine because the location is very important to me. I've always wanted to move to California even before nursing school since I am from Seattle, so this is the perfect opportunity for me to move there with a purpose. I got into the South Jordan campus and have never been to Utah, I feel more familiar with LA/OC area because I travel there often. Also, the program is almost 9k cheaper than Roseman's, graduation is also sooner (December 2021 vs March 2022). And I really like the idea of having instructors being there whenever I have questions since it is full time on-campus versus hybrid. There are also other factors as well but these are just some of the reasons why I chose Concordia! Hope this helps, and CONGRATS on your acceptance to both schools!
