Hey everyone, starting a new thread for the upcoming Fall/October 2020 Cohort.
Applications just opened up this month.
Curious how many applicants there will be due to COVID-19.
Feel free to post your stats/campus preference and please state if you're a first-time or rollover applicant.

Yeah I’m glad too! CONGRATS on your acceptance! It does seem like there’s a lot of us from California. I look forward to meeting everyone ?

Hi! I’m also from California and I too was hoping for the Vegas campus, but I’ve heard a few things about their Utah location and made me feel better about the move!

Yeah, I have too! It definitely eases my nerves. I'm excited to get started. I'm trying to figure out the housing situation right now. Orientation is coming up pretty soon

She's the best and was very patient enough to go over the terms for the ISA program. Also, thanks! you helped me out a lot because now I know I'm not the only one trying out their new payment program. Best wishes future nurses!
Hey in your opinion did you feel the ISA program was better than taking out private loans. I'm looking into different options, but I think I might do that if I don't have another choice

I opted to use their ISA program over more private loans based on not wanting to accrue more interest over time. By using the ISA program, I'm preventing myself from accruing more interest and there is a set amount of time or money that you will pay toward the ISA program. With private loans, you run the risk of accruing wayyyy more interest and by the time you finally do pay that loan off, you may have paid back way more than you would have with the ISA program.

The ISA was my only option. But from the looks of it, it seems like the “better” option as you have a 6 month grace period + you have to make a minimum of $40K a year to even start paying back. But they do take a fixed percentage of your income for “X” amount of monthly payments. Whichever you fulfill first!
Ex: Let’s say the terms are 84 months AND the payment cap is $45K. You fulfill the 84 payments for “X” amount, then your ISA will end. OR let’s say you fulfill your payment cap since you make a higher salary after you graduate, then your ISA will end - But you’ll NEVER pay more than your payment cap!
Before you even sign your ISA, the documents will provide your terms and give you information on everything. Hope this helps!

I was also wondering the same, did anyone hear back from them? I know we're suppose to find out by Friday. CONGRATS to everyone who has been accepted!
