Roseman University Fall/October 2020 Cohort

Published

Hey everyone, starting a new thread for the upcoming Fall/October 2020 Cohort.

Applications just opened up this month.

Curious how many applicants there will be due to COVID-19.

Feel free to post your stats/campus preference and please state if you're a first-time or rollover applicant.

You take it with one of the colleges in nevada. I recommend taking it at csn. It is cheap and affordable. If you are from CA or utah you don't pay the full out of state tuition. I think this goes for all the colleges in vegas. Also, you can take this class online while you are waiting for the the oct cohort to begin. Roseman recommends that you take the nevada class asap. Definitely before block 3. Best of luck.

Thank you for the response! I actually looked at CSN and saw what you are talking about, re paying not out of state tuition and they said I would need to email the cashiers office which I did. I don't know if I should apply to the school yet to get registered for the class or wait until they contact me? I would love to ask you more questions about the program if its okay for you to email me; [email protected] ?

I would apply to the school and then register for the class asap. Try and register for the august term if possible. You can take this class online and there are some where it is only an 8 week course. Double check with roseman which history/nevada course they accept because there are different history classes offered.

Example: if you take history 101 then you have to take history 102 in order for it to count as the "nevada constitution" course. Whereas, there's another class that will count for the entire requirement altogether. Saves you more time and money.

Sure! Ask all the questions you want ahaha. I sent you an email ?

The only books that are included are the ATI textbooks. The laptop is included in the tuition as well as online access to ATI study materials.

You will buy your own uniform, stethoscope and books for classes.

Also, I graduated already. I went to the south jordan campus. I had to move all the way from california even though my first choice was Henderson. I have to admit, the south jordan campus is hands down the better campus. Plus, with the exception of when it snows, Utah is actually very nice.

Hello,

I am pretty nervous about the move down to Utah from Seattle. Can

you explain to me more about why you think it is the better campus? and maybe some pros and cons about living around that area? Thanks!

Thinking way ahead here but has anyone looked into MSN programs? If so, do you know if more than less require letter grades for courses? Just concerned that Roseman does not give letter grades and only a GPA number.

Thank you so much I didn't realize it could potentially be different history classes, I thought only the Nevada history class was needed. And email sent :)

Hi guys,

Just want to know what did you guy do to pay off the tuition at Roseman. Will you guys be paying out-of-pocket, loans, or their new ISA ?

Hi!

I am going to try and apply to FASFA and see if I get anything. I have some savings, but will most likely be taking out a loan. Haven't looked at my options yet, but would be interested to hear others! I think its nice that Roseman already gave us the amounts and dates payments are due so we can prepare and plan.

Hi! Personally, I had no other option but to resort to their ISA program. It basically covers the remainder of what financial aid does not cover for term 1-5 (Academic Year 1-3). Just contact your financial aid specialist - In this case for me, it was Jennifer B who was my point of contact. I hope this helps!

Anyone know when 3rd round of invites go out ?

The Director Of Admissions said we’ll know on the 31rst if not sooner. These two weeks feel like they’re taking forever!

Same I planning on doing that too after getting the amount from my financial aid. I had Jennifer too. She's the best and was very patient enough to go over the terms for the ISA program. Also, thanks! you helped me out a lot because now I know I'm not the only one trying out their new payment program. Best wishes future nurses!

Hi!

I'm kind of confused navigating on ways to pay for tuition after being awarded FAFSA as it doesn't cover much. What is ISA? What made you choose it as opposed to applying for a private loan?
