Long time lurker and finally decided to post something as I haven't seen anything updated in awhile.
I just received my invite for an interview to the Nevada campus for next month. Just wondering how any of you felt about the interviews, the university and the program and any advice you can give for the interview. My transferable GPA I believe is somewhere between a 3.2-3.4 and my science TEAS score is around 92% ( I heard they look at this one the most). Anybody have a general sense of what my chances are? Someone on another thread said if you get an interview you're basically a shoe in.
I just spoke with my advisor yesterday. She said the July interview is all full. So, all applicants for the July interview have been notified. I applied with a friend with the exact stats. She told me the reason why we both did not get an interview yet is not that of our stats and but because it was full. It is a rolling admission, so it's mainly just based off when you submitted all your stuff. She said I should hear back from her in 2-3 weeks to follow up with preparing.
@KarlieChristine I think most people in the forum are talking about the ABSN that's coming up since regular BSN deadlines and acceptance were like in Feb i think.
@KarlineChristine my advisor called yesterday morning and told me July is all full. I would just follow up with your advisor to see where you stand right now. If you turned in both applications before June 7 it would have gone on the directors desk and you were put on the waiting list of students eligibile for July interviews.
I didn't make the cut for the absn July interview. So it looks like I'll be going in August if I get invited at all! Good luck everyone. Does anyone know the date for the August interview?
Oh they are doing an August interview? Last time I talked to my adviser he made it sound like July was going to be the last interview. I guess that's good to know! I'll have to talk to my adviser on Monday about that then.
