Hey guys!
Long time lurker and finally decided to post something as I haven't seen anything updated in awhile.
I just received my invite for an interview to the Nevada campus for next month. Just wondering how any of you felt about the interviews, the university and the program and any advice you can give for the interview. My transferable GPA I believe is somewhere between a 3.2-3.4 and my science TEAS score is around 92% ( I heard they look at this one the most). Anybody have a general sense of what my chances are? Someone on another thread said if you get an interview you're basically a shoe in.
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks guys.
My advisor called me around July 18th and told me I was invited to the August interview but I still haven't received any emails confirming this yet. I wouldn't be surprised if they did some sort of "rollover" list though, my advisor kept saying there were a lot more applicants than expected!
Okay, yeah I heard a lot more be applied this cohort! I was supposed to get a call around First week of Julyfrom them to update me..so I was worried we were near capacity when I still haven't received a call. She finally called me July 26 (yesterday) and said to rollover and September 19 is the next interview but for Feb cohort. However, I heard Feb cohort apps don't open until September.. so I think that's a little weird. Unless this session is specifically for rollovers?
@tambam Did you apply to SJ campus or was the Henderson campus full?
At the time I did put SJ as my 1st choice & then I changed my mind because I want to fly home as cheaply as possible so that's why I wanted Henderson.
I'm not sure if Henderson is full, but there were a lot of CA/NV students in the July Interview. But during Q&A, I asked about how they select where student are placed and Erik (the main admission & enrollment dude) says it's all random. They would look at the preference, but is not a guarantee, and they don't do the wait-list any more. If you don't get what campus you want, you cannot wait until the next cohort, you would have to reapply and hope to get in.

No rollover??? Yikes, I really hope they have enough spots left for us going into the August interview.

They said we should hear back next Friday.
And for the August interview I wouldn't expect to get an email until about 2 weeks before your interview.
