Roseman University ABSN October 2021

Published

Hello! I couldn’t find a thread for this cohort yet and I wanted to reach out and see if there is anyone in the same boat as me. I applied to this cohort as soon as it was made available (I think May 3rd?). I’m from CA and I opted to try for the South Jordan campus. My stats are around 3.5 GPA for science/math and around 3.8 GPA overall with a 94.7% TEAS score. I haven’t received an email yet regarding interviews and from previous threads it looks like I could be waiting until August to receive an invitation, if I am invited at all. Has anyone else heard anything back regarding this cohort yet or any that rolled over into this cohort? Would love to connect with others trying for the cohort, too. This is my first experience with Roseman so if anyone has tips or advice, I’d love to hear it ? Thanks!

I got an interview I applied after the first interview. Anyone else?

For anyone still waiting for the second round of interviews, has anyone received an invite for interviews or know for sure when these will be sent out? Thanks!

Hello! I just received an invite for interviews about a hour ago, so I think the second round of interviews got sent out today?

Congrats!! Do you mind sharing your stats? ?

I got an invite for interview this morning! The email says something about being evaluated on the writing component as well. Does anybody know how that works?

Wishing luck to everyone who had the interview yesterday. I was surprised I was picked as I applied super late. My overall GPA is 3.7 and my prereq GPA is a 3.3 (a chem I took many moons ago is weighing it down and I really don’t want to retake it) and my TEAS is 88.7

Has anyone made a FB group for the Henderson Campus?

Is it competitive to get into Roseman? Where are clinicals done?

Getting into the Henderson campus is pretty competitive but as long as you’re around average/ above average you shouldn’t have a problem getting in to the Utah campus. If your GPA is a little low I highly recommend taking the TEAS seriously and try to get a good score.

Clinicals are at hospitals nearby the campus, from what I know we don’t know which hospitals exactly yet.

Can we apply to the Henderson campus if we live in California? Do you know the cost of the BSN program? Sorry for all the questions.

It’s around 65k. You cant apply to a specific campus, they choose for you but you are allowed to put what you prefer in the supplemental application. Henderson is hard to get from my experience, I tried 3 times and I finally settled on Utah. A lot of the applicants are also from California. They haven’t mentioned how they select who goes to which campus but I think where you are from isn’t considered.
