Hello! I couldn’t find a thread for this cohort yet and I wanted to reach out and see if there is anyone in the same boat as me. I applied to this cohort as soon as it was made available (I think May 3rd?). I’m from CA and I opted to try for the South Jordan campus. My stats are around 3.5 GPA for science/math and around 3.8 GPA overall with a 94.7% TEAS score. I haven’t received an email yet regarding interviews and from previous threads it looks like I could be waiting until August to receive an invitation, if I am invited at all. Has anyone else heard anything back regarding this cohort yet or any that rolled over into this cohort? Would love to connect with others trying for the cohort, too. This is my first experience with Roseman so if anyone has tips or advice, I’d love to hear it ? Thanks!

Hi! I applied right around the time you did and it was my first time applying. I already live in Vegas and my husband is stationed here for a while, so I'm hoping I'm lucky enough to get Henderson if I am accepted. I can't move at this stage in my life. My kids have a decent school here and the military takes their dad away enough. I couldn't voluntarily do that to them by moving. 

Your stats look good. Mine are a bit lower (last 60 credits-3.2, prerequisites-3.3, TEAS-86%). I haven't received an email but I'm hopeful I can have a chance for the first round of interviews. From what I've read so far, first round emails for interviews come out around the end of the first month, with interviews taking place 2-3 weeks after that. Good luck in your application process:)

Hey, I am applying to the October cohort as well and will most likely be submitting my application tomorrow. I'll be moving to Henderson in a couple of weeks with my partner who is starting school there this Summer, so I'm hoping to be accepted to the Henderson location too. Does anyone know if the admissions team takes into consideration if applicants are already established in the area when offering acceptances to each location?

From my understanding, they do not take your current location into account. They place you in the campus that has room. In the application you can put your campus preference, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you will get accepted to that campus location unfortunately.

Hi everyone! I applied on May 3rd. If anyone starts hearing back for first round of interviews please post it here! I have a deadline for another nursing school this Summer so I’m hoping Roseman decisions don’t take too long. This school is my first choice so I’m hopeful things go well. I’m from San Francisco, CA and hoping to get into the Henderson campus. Would love to connect with all of you. Best of luck to everyone!

Hello everyone!
I applied for the august BSN a couple days before the deadline on May 1st. A couple days later, I received an email stating the application cycle had closed. So I rolled over my application and haven’t heard anything from them since. 
Here’s my stats...

science and math GPA: 3.4

cumulative GPA: 3.7

TEAS: 80.1

im currently retaking my A&P1 to hopefully boost my GPA. I also plan to retake the TEAS in a couple months. Just waiting to hear back from a nursing program here in San Diego.

Hello, I am a rollover applicant from the Summer cohort. I applied May 3rd as well. Really hoping I get into the Henderson location. I live in Henderson and my kids and husband are unable to move so really crossing my fingers...My stats are a 3.3 GPA and 87% TEAS.

We are in the same boat. I'm not a rollover applicant but our stats are similar and I am already established here in Vegas. Hoping for Henderson too. Good Luck to you:)

Hi!

I just purchased my first home here in Las Vegas, so I opted out of the Utah campus option (South Jordan? But it said Salt Lake City on my application???). Although I want to start nursing school and graduate already, I figured that I shouldn't rush the process and add on the stress of moving to another state (I just moved here last August from Michigan). Anyways, I see that I'm not alone! To all of you, especially to those who have kids/family/established lives here in Vegas already, trust that what's meant to be yours in life will be yours when the time is right. No matter what happens, stay positive, don't get discouraged, and keep working towards your goals ? I wish you all the best! ?

I spoke with an advisor that told me the first round of invitations should be emailed around June 8th.
