Roseman ABSN Fall 2022

U.S.A. Nevada

Published

Hello all, I just wanted to start a thread for those applying to Roseman's ABSN program for fall 2022 entry!

I have yet to apply (I take my TEAS Feb. 7th) but plan to do so shortly after. Has anyone been accepted yet?

Is there a facebook group for the August 2022 South Jordan campus?

Hello all! I applied for BSN fall 2022, but I couldn't find any thread, so am posting this here. I am waiting for my interview next week. I already read all the old threads regarding the interview, but I just wonder if there's any tip you can share?

Also, I actually have a low TEAS score. I wanted to retake it but I couldn't because of the 4-week interval rule. I sent an email about my concern to the advisor, and what she said was if I'm selected for the interview, the admission committee may put me on hold to retake the test. Do you guys think I should retake TEAS to increase the chance of admission? Or do you think it's okay as long as I'm already selected for the interview, so I'd better prepare for the interview and do my best on the writing assignment?

I am SUPER NERVOUS about the interview since English is not my first language.. I hope I will not make any silly mistakes and misunderstand questions from them! Thank you all in advance and good luck!!

If your score is below 80. I think you should retake again . Average acceptance is 80%.

Hello!

I applied and went through the interview process already. They ask you 4 to 5 questions with a professor and current/former student present. They were very kind and patient with me as well as a variety of studenrs from all different backgrounds. You have no exact time limit, and the questions were relatively simple. I believe in one forum they posted all of the potential questions.

Here's a few that I can remember:

What have you done to prepare for nursing school?

How would you handle a negative environment or someone with a negative attitude?

Name a time when you had to earn someone’s respect and why?

Hope this helps!

I am so grateful to have stumbled onto this thread, I received Admissions to the Henderson Campus for Fall 2022 and was hoping I could get in touch with others in my cohort. I don't mind joining/creating a facebook group if anyone is interested.

p.s. I currently live in SoCal and I'm very nervous about moving states, but more than excited to start anew and make new study buddies. ?

Thank you so much for sharing. It really helped me. I appreciate your time cws2001. Did you apply for ABSN or BSN?

Hi! I was also accepted to the Henderson campus for August 2022. I personally would join a facebook—to my knowledge neither exists yet. I have lived in Henderson for almost a year (moved from NorCal) so if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Hi! To my knowledge there’s no difference between the ABSN and BSN program. I’m not sure why they call the on-campus version “BSN” on their application and the hybrid ones “ABSN” but I think they all take the same amount of time and accept students from the same pool.

Specializes in med/surge, hospice.

Hey everyone! I live in vegas and will be attending roseman in fall 2022! Cant wait to meet you all.
