Starting this thread for everyone who is applying to RFUs 2026 cohort ! I applied and got my confirmation they received my application and now just waiting.
I applied last week and got my rejection letter today 😞 I'm feeling lost with a few rejections under my belt, this is my 2nd year applying to schools, 1st year for RFU. For those that were granted an interview at least can you please share your stats or send me a message? I have reached out to schools I have received a denial from and have yet to receive any word about what I can do specifically to make me more competitive. tysm ❤️
I applied 8/21 and received the "This is a courtesy notification to make you aware that your file has gone through an initial review by our Admissions Committee, and, although we believe your credentials demonstrate academic potential, it has been placed on hold for continued consideration." email on 9/11. I haven't heard anything since!
I see a lot of people seem to be in a similar situation. Hoping for some (good!) updates soon!

Those are great stats. Maybe an error
Does anyone have a general idea on how much the info session actually weighs on our application? If it's simply just an info session does that mean they have some people picked already? I'm curious on as to how they are going to score us especially if there will be a lot of people there.

Not sure, but at their open house they mentioned that only the Kira and application are scored, and the info session is more of a low-key "get to know you" event. The "program overview video" that comes with the Zoom session invite explains the process pretty well. Honestly, it almost feels like they're already making their final decisions during the wait for the Zoom info session.
