Especially if there's no guarantee, that could end up being a huge waste of time and money if getting into their CRNA program is your end goal when, after a year doing that you could have already been 1/3 done with CRNA school elsewhere. Too big of a risk to put all of your eggs in one basket at the end of the day. You can proceed with that if you want, but if you really want to be a CRNA, yes, having a top choice is wonderful but if things don't work out you really have to open up your options realistically.

Hi. Unfortunately, the class is already full and the cycle is already over ? interviews ended back in December. There is no more portal or responses you will receive. Give it a try again the next cycle! They had over 1200 applicants so they probably didn't get back to everyone.

girly, nobody hears back within a week. ?give them some proper time to get back to you LOL! I know the feeling I was the same way. It's anxiety inducing the whole process. Give them 2-3 weeks at least. Some people they take 30 days to get back to.

I'm sorry ? don't give up getting an interview means you're SO close!! You will get an acceptance this year somewhere.

When in January? To be fair it's the second day of February so it kinda depends like when you interviewed in Jan.

Yeah I think we've had 3. I was one of the first because I got off the waitlist after just 2 weeks after they sent out acceptances. At this point it's going to be dependent if more people leave and keep in mind it's a smaller cohort.

This program shares a cycle with probably 1/3 of other programs as it opens in August but the reality is that over 1,000 people who applied will not get in this year so I just wanted to offer everyone insight that you really have to spread your options! Some people try multiple cycles over two or more years and often times it's because they only applied to 1-2 schools delaying them time that they could have already started at another school. It's just a risk you take if you ever only plan to just apply to one. Many have their top choices, but at the end of the day you will always hear the best program is the one that accepts you. Absolutely whatever happens for you will happen but also you have to put in the work to make sure it does! Because thousands of ICU nurses are also doing the same exact thing and hoping the same thing. So this response isn't just to you directly LOL but just because this thread is very large /long and a lot of people have been anxious about being placed on hold or may not have gotten an interview invite. So to all who are reading this that is my advice.

Oh yeah & I know we're almost full but I doubt we are actually 100% full there def are a last little bit of spots left (even if it's just 1 spot), especially if there's this last session. The # of people in the FB groups are not the best indicator of how many got in bc everyone does not know of Allnurses, but I'm sure there's still a handful of spots left. Also, I have said this before. If you end up waitlisted, this is a large cohort. To all of you, I really really hope you are not putting all of your eggs in one basket. If you want it bad enough, you are applying to several schools. You're playing a risky game by only applying to one. Especially with 1k applicants for 50 spots. And by extending your coverage (broad spectrum no antibiotics LOL) you increase your chances of getting into multiple schools with options. And you can only choose ONE. So with those who are actually getting multiple acceptances, factors such as cost, location, start time, family, and if they get into their higher top choices play a factor. I wouldn't doubt if at least 5 or more people will rescind their spot before May. So do not give up. If you get off the waitlist or not you ALL better keep trying if you really want this. Rejection or not. If a job doesn't offer you a position, do you stop looking and just risk homelessness? No. So the same applies with school. Doesn't matter how many denials you get, you better stay resilient and show grit. Keep trying everyone. And good luck.

You're so welcome. You can expect that a few of you will get an acceptance today this afternoon, or later this week within a week. The remainder will likely be placed on hold. The same thing will occur for the next two interviews, and after that if they haven't already filled the class, which maybe not, I don't know, but they surely will take people off hold and accept them in. And if you're waitlisted, keep hope because there's a possibility you will get off of it! Don't feel too defeated.

I mean... you wouldn't be invited to the group interview if you didn't do well on the Kira. Unless they are doing that because the deadline is approaching** Now, how they make selections out of all who do the 2nd interview, it's not like we actually know. However, Dr. Anderson has stated before and should have stated in your session that the group interview is mostly a meet and greet and not the biggest deciding factor. So, it's safe to assume yes! I don't think anyone who got accepted did bad on their Kira. But I'm sure that's not their sole deciding factor either. Don't stress or overthink it. If you made it to the group interview with faculty, you are very potentially qualified to be a SRNA unless you truly fumble the group interview. If you get a hold message, remember there is a good chance you can still get in. If you're on the waitlist, there's someone who will get off. How many? Don't know but someone usually always will at some point. Keep pushing forward.

Also please remember that being on the waitlist isn't an end all. This is just a competitive process. It doesn't mean you weren't good enough if you didn't get in. It's just a competitive process trying to get into a program. There is totally a CRNA school out there for you. There is a HIGH chance several people will give up their spot prior to program start this May. Don't get down. People are applying to multiple programs (as should everyone honestly bc it's so competitive) and if they get into their top choice, whether it's due to cost, family, location, or what's better suited for them, there will be openings available. Right now the cohort is halfway full give or take. It's hard to estimate because not everyone may use allnurses so may be some admitted that don't respond here
