UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

Starting this thread for everyone who is applying to RFUs 2026 cohort ! I applied and got my confirmation they received my application and now just waiting. 

Just got the hold email, no Kira. Really disappointed but will still be attending the CO open house later this month. Feeling hopeless this application cycle!

Sorry to hear that! It's already such a tough process and then there are so many more applicants this year than in previous cycles. I'll be at the open house as well. Look forward to seeing you there.

DOES ANYONE KNOW OF BEING PLACED ON HOLD  WITHOUT EVEN THE INTERVIEW, AND THEN BEING GRANTED A KIRA ASSESSMENT after being placed on hold? IS THIS POSSIBLE or no TIME TO MOVE ON

Not my personal experience but if you check forums there was a few people who were offered acceptance from being on hold. I'm it's probably bc there's just soooo many applicants this year.

From looking at years of past applicants  I have not been able to find any threads of hold and no Kira invited . This is also my same situation. There doesn't seem to be a lot of information for getting the hold and no Kira . All info from hold that have been invited were people who completed the Kira . If anyone knows or finds something different feel free to chime in .

I do not. From experience, I was offered a kira interview the first year I applied and was placed on hold, then the waitlist, then a denial.

I called and asked! She told me placing people on hold and then getting a Kira Invite is common. IDK if she was bluffing but we will see

for those who have completed the Kira, how long did it take to hear back about the info session/hold decision?

I did the Kira assessment on 9/6 and got my invitation for the info session today, 9/18, and was able to schedule. Hope this helps!
