Sure 🙂 GPA 4.0 Cumulative & science, lots of research experience and multiple conferences.  2.5 years in mixed ICU. Leader of multiple committees. Preceptor, tutor and current Co-PI. CCRN, CMC and some other micro credentials on top of the required ones. Shadowing for 24 hrs and over 1000 hr of volunteering.

Thank you! Got it yesterday afternoon! And absolutely - nursing was a second career for me (had about 8 years experience in humanitarian aid/non profit work with a master's in human rights prior). 3.98 nursing GPA, 3.73 cumulative, 3.95 science. A little over three years experience in a MICU at a Level 1 hospital. Have my CCRN and took a biochem course before applying. Honestly I think my previous career and time spent studying/working abroad probably helped me stand out. It's such a numbers game with how many applicants they've gotten! Genuinely didn't think I had a chance this year so I'm super grateful.

I was planning to apply in the next week. Do you guys think it's too late and a total waste? I have been applying to several schools right now and after getting on here I feel completely behind the 8 ball.

For those who attended the 10/7 virtual info session , did y'all get your acceptance / waitlist/ hold / denial email yet? My portal still says received and haven't had any updates . I know some people got theirs already , I just wanted to see if I'm the only one who's waiting . Thanks 😊

I was at that Zoom too and have not heard anything yet either. Based on what happened with the prior interview, it seems like if you are accepted you hear within a day or so and then the following week after the next Zoom- most get an on hold notice.
